Description

Currently developing Island Bender, Island Bender Games is an indie studio that loves creating fun gaming experiences for your family and friends. Creating joy through gaming is at the heart of our game and our team. We're just getting started, but we hope that you'll join us on this journey, and enjoy our creations as much as we enjoyed making them!

History

Island Bender was initially developed as a portfolio project for artists, sound designers, and programmers in February 2020. However, after a few days of prototyping, it was put on hold due to issues with the controls and overall gameplay. In January 2022, development was picked up again after showcasing at IndieGameFest in Cologne and PLAY!CON in Trier, and getting positive feedback from players. Since then, it has been continuously iterated to improve its gameplay and user experience.

Drawing inspiration from the hit TV show Avatar: The Last Airbender, as well as the popular earthbending video by Jared Koh, the Bash ability in Ori and the Blind Forest, Island Bender brings you a fun and immersive co-op gameplay experience that will leave you feeling like you've just taken down an entire army of bad guys all on your own.

We are excited to share Island Bender with the world and hope players will enjoy this unique and thrilling game.
